I have received numerous kind letters and messages over the past month. Thank you! I wish each of you good fortune, fun, challenges and growth during the remainder of your Cub Scouting year(s). I thank you for being the great Scouts and Leaders you are. You had made my time with you worth every moment.

Your involvement in the Cub Scout program will hopefully lead each of you to want to become Boy Scouts. I would be most proud to have you cross over into a Troop that I too will call 'My Camp' as I had mentioned I was searching for at our last Council Fire that we had shared together. I have saved the ashes from that fire and I look forward to placing them into the next fire we share together. My priviledge will be to sit beside it with you.

Parents of Webelos Scouts considering an active, adventurous, boy-lead Troop program based upon the Principles of Scouting should look at local troops to determine which will be the best fit for their son.

Good Luck to all of my Cubs and their den/patrols leaders. May you find a Scoutmaster who has a shadow in which you can walk.
