The Pack hosts two styles of camping. Cub Scout Camping and Family Camping. The two styles of camping are differentiated by their affiliation with BSA.

Cub Scout Camping is a BSA sponsored campout. The rules of BSA camping apply. Tigers can only stay over 1 night and must be accompanied by their adult partner. Siblings of Scouts are discouraged from attending Cub Scout campouts.

Family Camping is less stringent. Everyone in the family is welcome to attend the campout. There is no affiliation with BSA on these campouts, although the Pack will conduct itself like Scouts at all times. Tigers may stay over 2 nights with their adult partner and siblings are welcome to attend.

Food. The Pack shall be organized by Dens in the designated camping area. Dens shall be responsible for notifying the Outdoor Committee how many den members & adults are attending the campout at least 1 week prior so that food may be purchased. 2004 cooking will be consolidated at the Pack level. Dens will rotate through a duty roster to help the pack committee cook and clean during each meal. On 2 day campouts we generally cook Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast. The cost per person for food on a Pack campout is generally $10 and is payable to the Den Leader.

Electronic Devices. Scouts are not permitted tp bring any electronic device to any Pack Campout, whether Cub Scout or Family Camping.

Cutting Tools. Scouts are not permitted to bring knives, hatchets, axes or saws of any kind. The only exception to this policy is a 2nd year Webelos who holds a valid "Whittling Chit."

Hygiene. Dens should be prepared to cook and clean in their assigned Den areas. At no time will anyone conduct personal hygiene or wash cook pots at the Pack's water source. Water may be drawn from the source and taken back to the Den area for utilization.

Waste Water. A common "sump" will be designated for the Pack in the pack camp area. All food waste should be disposed of in the respective Den garbage bags. Waste water from cleaning must be disposed of in the Pack Sump only. Do not dispose of waste water in any other place other than the designated Pack Sump.

Fires. The campfire pit is RESTRICTED to only those Scouts assigned to build the Pack Ceremony Fire. We do not roast marshmellows or cook hot dogs on an open fire exception in special circumstances designated and approved by the Cubmaster.

Wood Cutting. This is a special area that is roped off and is RESTRICTED to all Scouts except those directly supervised by an adult leader. Only 2nd year webelos holding a valid "Whittling Chit" will be authorized to use cutting tools.

Prohibited Items. Alcohol, electronic devices, and firearms are strictly prohibited from any Cub Scout or Family camp conducted by the Pack.

Personal Items. Items that each camper should bring include; tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad (air or closed cell foam), pillow, change of cloths, Class A & B uniform. Additional items may be brought along on the campout, but we ask each adult to consider a challenge, "If you can't carry it to camp in one trip from the car, you probably don't need it!"
